watched a programme on prog rock the other day, and realised why i like it, so am having a bit of a nostalgia sesh. not all prog rock, though. Can - Tago Mago (which did my head in completely this morning, unsurprisingly). Caravan - For Girls Who Grow Plump in the Night. Jethro Tull - Living in the Past. early Genesis (i can hear dunc groaning  ). Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells (love it, especially the Viv Stanshall version of the Sailor's Hornpipe, which is fecking hilarious!) |

OH, It is metalcore stuff, but more toward the hilarious side. Interesting thing to me is that they have a different "metal star guitar hero" doing each solo. It is a collection of massive shredders and some very cool music making fun of metal music, but then you have to wonder - are they really serious? How can they make such great metal music if they are actually making fun of metal music?
Then you remember that all music should be fun and you relax and enjoy it.
