This sad, sad little girl.

Triggered by her mp4 player, that did not react the way it should, and she only just had it. She cried and cried, also about her dad. Poor kid. No way she could miss yesterday that he is no fun being around when he is not in a good mood. She has a delay in her reactions on this. She was so sad. Yesterday she laughed it away, now she was deeply in tears.

Oh poor little love. No fun at all. Deserves better

I have a presentation to do next week. I hate the fact that all my classes have presentations and I am autistic which doesn't help things. Will read it out in a monotone voice and get a bad grade. Grrr.

Not fair. Hope you get through OK.

Will you ever get the chance, (if you'd want to) to do a presentation on autism?

Do they know you are autistic? I wouldn't have thought they could get way with marking you down because of your tone of voice if they did- have you asked if you can turn in your notes as well as giving the presentation so you can be better marked on the quality of your work?

I would hope so.

Are they marking you down for the fact you are reading out, rather than your voice? Because doing it for the former is legitmate, doing it for the latter is not. Would be something I would put in a formal complaint about myself.

Amber has had some oral presentations to make in front of her classes in high school.  We gave her tips and some coaching and she did fine.

You could argue that they are both things that people with AS can learn. Not sure they could be under the DDA on this one very easily, they could count it as a competency standard. There is a mark for making eye contact on my presentation proforma, but its only 1/25...

The lay out of the street I had to be in today. Made no sense at all. And when I finally found the parts that made the street, I could not find the right number. Had to take an alley between some storage buildings without numbering. Then came on an open place, where the number was that I needed.

This was supposed to be a public building, meant for healthcare. How will people find their way if it is that hard to get there?

Luckily an old man came out of his house, seeing me look around. He lived in a street with a different name (between the parts that made up the street I needed to be in). He told me how to find it.

Glad you found a decent person to help you.  But, clear directions is one of my absolute must haves as I am very direction phobic.  If I can't find a place that I need or want to go to, I get very irritated, VERY irritated.   Angry
